Client’s Background

BenQ is a leading visual display solution innovating an extensive line of projectors, monitors, and digital displays for home, corporate, education and government sectors. Mobiuz and Zowie are the sub-brands of BenQ, producing world-class and innovative gaming displays.

BenQ Middle East is based in Dubai, UAE and offers solutions across the Middle East region.

Client’s Challenges

BenQ faced challenges in producing consistent design creatives with various product portfolios, especially with two niched (gaming) sub-brands.

They worked with agencies and freelancers but ended up creating forgetful designs. The unimpressive designs were not the only challenge they faced. Inconsistent and incorrect use of brand guidelines was also a significant issue they were dealing with.

Our Approach

During our discovery call with BenQ, we understood their pain points and after onboarding them, we focussed on broadly 3 essential aspects:

• Not treating BenQ as a single brand but segmenting it as 3 different brands (BenQ, Mobuiz and Zowie). This sorted out almost all the confusions their previous agencies faced with brand guidelines.
• Focussed on producing consistently high-quality design assets with keeping the end consumers’ perspective in mind.
• Developed a smooth and hassle-free process of sharing and accessing files with the client. This not only made our client’s life easier but also helped us save a lot of time during the feedback process.
