Dubai is a popular tourist destination as well as a home to several business ventures and companies. It witnesses numerous tourists and business professionals visiting the place throughout the year, boosting the economy of the country and the car rental industry.
Yousco is a locally owned luxury car rental agency in Dubai with a wide range of sports, luxury, SUV, and economical cars. Established in 2006, the company aims to be the leader in the car rental industry in the MENA region.
Challenges
Highly Competitive Dubai Market
The car rental industry is booming in Dubai because of the swarm of visitors throughout the year, making car rental a profitable but competitive business. Though Yousco has been operating for the past fifteen years, it could not make an effective online presence against the already established rental giants.
Expensive Lead Generation Sources
Yousco, before partnering with Next Wavelength, was solely dependent upon social media to generate leads. They had to spend premium prices every month to run Instagram ad campaigns.
Low Ranking
Yousco’s online average ranking before Next Wavelength’s assistance was pretty low. Only three of their keywords ranked on Google, and that too on the sixth and ninth pages of Google. Whereas their competitors had very high rankings.
The strategy
The Need
Our primary focus for Yousco, when we started our project in March 2022, was to redesign their website with excellent web vital score, produce informational content for their blog and optimise the website with On-page and technical SEO.
The Plan
We had four top-level goals for Yousco.
- Increase leads through the website by at least 60%
- Rank the website on 1st page of Google for at least 30 intent-based keywords.
- Rank the website on the 1st page of Google for a minimum of 5 business-related keywords targeting local suburb names.
- Rank the website on 1st page of Google for at least 1 keyword that includes ‘Lamborghini’.
The Execution
Based on the need of the project and our plan, we started with redesigning the website, and within a month’s time, we achieved a score of 90/100 on Google’s page speed insights tool.
Once the website was ready with the following:
- Research intent-based keyword
- Fix and update NAP for citations
- Optimised Google My Business for local footfall
- Produced quality content
